Yana Panius, a painter and decorative painting artist, a member of the international organization “Union of Marine Artists of Odesa, Ukraine,” and an authorized representative of the Union of Marine Artists in the countries of the European Union (France, Italy, Bulgaria, Poland), Egypt, and the United Arab Emirates, took part in an international symposium in Egypt.
Ukrainian artist Yana Panius took part in the international symposium “Art Sharm 2025,” which was held in Egypt, in the city of Sharm El-Sheikh, from September 21 to 29.
This large-scale art symposium, dedicated to World Tourism Day, brought together a significant number of participants — 54 artists from 20 countries around the world.
Artists from Egypt, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Jordan, Kosovo, Albania, the USA, Romania, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, South Korea, Iraq, Montenegro, Lebanon, Japan, the Netherlands, England, North Macedonia and Tunisia took part in the symposium, creating works that reflect the richness of creative experience and the diversity of artistic schools and styles, emphasizing the interaction of different cultures in the urban environment.
Inspired by the rich and mysterious underwater world of the Red Sea, Yana Panius created a painting that reflects her author’s style and artistic manner, conveying a beautiful combination of colors. At the same time, the artist did not forget about the national symbols of Ukraine — as in many of her works, yellow and blue colors, symbolizing her homeland, are present on the canvas. The painting impresses the viewer with its bright and rich color palette. It carries the energy and inner light characteristic of the artist’s work.
At the end of the symposium, a final exhibition was held, attended by honorary guests, representatives of the administration and the artists. Yana Panius became the first artist from Ukraine to take part in this international event.
The opening ceremony was led by the Governor of South Sinai Province, Khaled Mubarak Hussein Bakri, who, while viewing the exhibition, expressed his admiration for the works created within the framework of the symposium. He noted that these works embody the message of Sharm El-Sheikh as a city of peace and creativity, as well as the image of Egypt as a bridge for communication between nations. The Governor also praised the role of the artists in the success of the event and emphasized Sharm El-Sheikh’s status as a center of fine arts and cultural tourism.
It was noted that art is a universal language that unites peoples, overcomes geographical and linguistic boundaries and connects different cultures with the spirit of creativity and human communication.
