On August 12, 2026, the solemn opening of the personal painting exhibition “Philosophy of the Elements” by artist and Vice President of the Odesa City Marine Painters’ Union Serhii Yuriiovych Saienko took place at the All-Ukrainian Center of Bulgarian Culture in Odesa.
The exhibition became a notable cultural event, bringing together admirers of fine art, creative colleagues, friends, and guests. The exhibition presents a diverse body of the artist’s work and reveals his distinctive vision of color, form, nature, and the surrounding world.
The exhibition features a collection of paintings created in acrylic on canvas, as well as watercolor plein-air studies on paper. Among the works presented are still lifes, landscapes, and abstract compositions. Each painting has its own mood and artistic language, while together they create a cohesive artistic space in which the artist’s desire to convey not only external beauty but also inner energy can be felt.
The title of the exhibition — “Philosophy of the Elements” — symbolically brings together different facets of Serhii Saienko’s creative work. In his paintings, the elements appear as a natural force, movement, emotion, and an integral part of human perception. The artist invites viewers not simply to observe the paintings, but to experience their mood, pause before each canvas, and find their own personal dialogue with art.
The opening ceremony was conducted by Dmytro Fedorovych, Director of the All-Ukrainian Center of Bulgarian Culture. He congratulated the artist on the opening of his personal exhibition and wished him new creative achievements, inspiration, and continued development of his artistic work.
An important part of the event was the speech by Yurii Yevhenovych Herashchenko, President of the Odesa City Marine Painters’ Union. He congratulated Serhii Saienko on this significant artistic occasion and presented the artist with a commemorative certificate, expressing recognition of his creativity and contribution to the artistic life of Odesa.
The musical part of the program added a special atmosphere to the evening. Guests of the exhibition enjoyed original songs featuring lyrics by Serhii Saienko — an artist who combines visual art, poetry, and songwriting in his creative work. Painting and music complemented each other naturally, creating a harmonious and inspiring artistic atmosphere.
Throughout the event, Serhii Yuriiovych Saienko received warm congratulations from creative colleagues, friends, and exhibition guests. Words of appreciation, support, and wishes for new creative achievements were expressed. For the artist himself, the opening was an important event, as a personal exhibition provides an opportunity to present his creative world, artistic explorations, and the results of many years of work to the public.
“Philosophy of the Elements” became not merely an exhibition of paintings, but a true artistic dialogue, bringing together painting, original songs, creative encounters, and sincere communication.
The opening of the exhibition demonstrated that Odesa’s cultural life continues to develop, bringing artists and admirers of beauty together. The work of Serhii Saienko is another vivid example of how art can convey emotions, moods, and an individual vision of the world.
The personal painting exhibition “Philosophy of the Elements” invites viewers to discover Serhii Saienko’s artistic work and offers an opportunity to see the world through the eyes of the artist — through color, form, light, nature, and emotion.
This evening became a significant cultural event for Odesa and art lovers, leaving those present with warm impressions and pleasant memories of their encounter with the artist’s creative work.
